La nuit déborde - Installation - 2019
presented as part of the exhibition Panorama 21
Installation
La Nuit déborde is an immersive installation that invites visitors to confront themselves.
They discover, crossing the space consisting of a mirror and two screens, their bodies awaken to new sensations like those that can experience the wounded or the disabled. They see their shadow, other bodies in the darkness of the device. The physical bodies interact with their reflections, meet and rub against each other, ignite each other and even revive dead ashes.
An experience for each visitor to become aware of himself, his own body through the duplication in the device.
“What I see is a floating image, the movement of a body in the ocean, but I do not know if it’s yours or mine. Do you want to know what you look like? Will the waves decrease? When will he come? “

After studying dance at the Taiwan National University of the Arts in Taipei, I followed the EX.E.R.CE course at the CNN in Montpellier, with Mathilde Monnier.
Since 2011 I have been working as a dancer on projects that combine dance, theatre and the visual arts, with partners from different cultures, exploring how they come together and combine. My work explores the notion of doubling, the relation between body and mind, and evokes the sensation and memory of the body. By visually enlarging details of the body, texture, contrasting images of the body, the combination and fusion of images and the language of physical expression, this research brings to light problems of immediate interest.
