Des lois des dialogues - Film - 42min - 2016
presented as part of the exhibition Panorama 18
Film
Two men and a woman in the summer heat are looking for a place to meet and, while walking, reflect on society in a form loosely based on Plato’s last text, The Laws. The dialogues written by the philosopher were about the fictional construction of a model city. They will be transposed into our contemporary world by the writer Marie-Line Laplante. The three characters will be played by three filmmakers: Alain Fleischer, Micheline Lanctôt and André S Labarthe. A philosophical fiction meets an anachronous and anxious real.
