Arthur Zerktouni
Danaé - Installation - 2011
presented as part of the exhibition Panorama 13
Installation
The work of Arthur Zerktouni is based on minimalist sound installations which ironically question the absurdity of the human condition.
He also composes hypnotic experimental music based on psychoanalytical concepts and makes videos with a certain humour in which he features carrying out derisory activities.
For Panorama 13, Arthur Zerktouni has taken his inspiration from the myth of Danaé and imagined a sound installation that places the spectator in an attitude of expectation, in front of a single machine made of glass, metal and water.
