Or anything at all except the dark pavement - Film - 2011

presented as part of the exhibition Panorama 13

Film

A tracking shot in two parts. First a guarded advance into the city. An opening in the night, with neon lights as guides. The city, already vague, fades away. Obscurity follows but the lights prevent it from taking over. They redraw the contours, announcing other “skylines”. Little by little the actions take over, isolated details from films, memories of journeys, a tribute to nocturnal outings and the roadside architecture. A projector shows the film onto a sheet metal screen, its crashes follow the tracking shot’s direction.
