A journalist and influencer is uncritically following a fascistic militia that has set out to thwart “culture,” embodied in this case by a group of women dancers. Mistreated, scorned, the dancers fight back, and are accused of being dangerous terrorists.
Bertrand Mandico is an author/filmmaker with a training in animated film. Holding a diploma from the CFT Gobelins, he made several animated films in which he experimented with different techniques, but soon abandoned animation to concentrate on “live action” cinema. In his films he experiments with the mixing of genres and the reinterpretation of fantasy narrative. He has developed a singular approach and style combining formalism and narrative.
