Installation co-realized with Certain Measures.

Liquid Structure is animmersive experience based on sound and the projection of images onto a geometric structure. The work immerses viewers in kaleidoscopic patterns that underlie our physical reality. Inspired by the geometric and structural concepts of the thinker and architect R. Buckminster Fuller, the project offers spectators a panorama of multisensory connections across the many scales of our universe. The performance takes the audience on a trans-scalar journey through the many states, appearances and mutations of water, from microscopic molecular patterns and crystalline structures to diaphanous atmospheric vapour, from a single droplet to an ocean and galactic gas clouds. The visual and aural content is constructed from observations and empirical data describing the behaviour of water at different scales. Liquid Structureis a visceral bodily experience of the physical world in motion.
