Jean-Baptiste Georjon was born in Saint-Étienne in 1995. He lives and works in Paris. A photographer and filmmaker trained in the social sciences, visual arts (ENSAD) and exhibition curation (ENSBA), he is interested in the fictional potential that emerges from documentary situations to construct his cinematic language. Archives, events and communities in the broadest sense of the term form an integral part of his research into utopia and news stories. His first film, Les Météores (2021), entered the FRAC Poitou-Charentes collection that same year.
