Tony Brown

A Canadian artist based in France, Tony Brown has been a professor at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts since 1993. Tony Brown's practice focuses entirely on the relationship between new technologies and human sensory experience. His machine sculptures, made dynamic by the action of light, play with the limits of our visual perception and confront us with a range of relationships of domination and subordination.
